Wow, that is an amazing column. "Some progressives are simply besotted by any civilization not their own." I would add that some "progressives" (I hate calling lefties progressive, I think their logic is rather regressive) are simply besotted by any civilization completely opposing their own.

[By the way, I wouldn't necessarily say that Luann is as funny as Get Fuzzy. I've just been following it for a number of years now. A comic that is definitely on the same level of Get Fuzzy is Pearls Before Swine. Hilarious, I promise.]
