I understand completely... my wife is Catholic and we are constantly eating peas... and rice. (Very cool, Tammi... not many pea-ple know what "new potatoes" are... I actually had a friend ask why one would use "old" ones!)

Haha DI! As kids, we used to say 'peas and rice!' instead of 'Jesus Christ!' because we'd get smacked for the latter since it's taking the Lord's name in vain.

PS - the potatoes are cut and ready to go into the ground in 6 days, Tammi. I'll try your recipe in 120 days (potatoes take forever to make), but I have to be honest: Even toast and potatoes can't make peas taste good.
