Resilience... that's why they grow potatos in Maine. (Damn good ones, I will add!)

As a footnote, they just got another 22" of snow in northern Maine (bringing the total on the ground to about 200 feet)... thus, the potatos may be a tad late this year...


Haha! You'll be hitting those snowmobile trails for a while yet, I'm guessing .

I was extremely heartened to hear of Mr. Allam's conversion. Such a high-profile figure, in a high-profile conversion - it's good.

For too long we Christians have been pussyfooting around the issue of reaching out to Muslims to share with them the Gospel of Christ. (And, frankly, some that did reach out only spoiled the image of Christians.)

This is a major triumph.


Plus, some of my tomatoes died!

Ok, fair enough - one issue is bigger than the other .
