From the article:

There is a concern here that the Jewish community will be portrayed as the Grinch.

Not the community. Just him.

I never heard of Christian Salt. How come I never heard of that?

Seattle caved? The Libs in charge gave up and surrendered? Hmmm, whoda thought it, eh?

Matthew 5.13: "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men."

I'm pretty sure they're not selling that in the 7-11. That's the only Christian salt I know about.

Don't blame me, le! According to my fake article, he's the one who said it

Kevin Kevin..this is all wrong hun..please read my post on this..I spoke to the man..he is being slammed by lies in the media!

Even in the article u post...read it hun: His goal was not to clear out Christmas, but rather to add a celebration of Hanukah. ...sheesh ..why is everyone jumping to conclusions here Kev?

No, I read it right. He threatened the airport with a lawsuit if they didn't put up a holiday ornament that he desired. Your dislike of decorations gives you no right to force them to be changed. Complain, protest, or boycott the place if it bugs you that much, but filing a lawsuit to remove their freedom of choice is beyond the pale.

This rabbi blows.

Angel, if he would have asked, I'd be behind him. No, he tried to FORCE them.

He dropped his plan to file a lawsuit. This is from a not-fake article, I think. http://www.kingcountyjournal.com.../NEWS/ 612120335

Kevin..with all due respect I spoke to the man and his wife..He DID ask the airport..2 months ago!..so if they patently refuse (even tho the Supreme Court allows it) what should he do?..roll over and give up?..He did not ask for the trees to be taken down but had every right to make waves...SEATAC showed their anti semitism and it aint purdy my friend!

Angel, if you know one thing about me, it's that I don't support laws created by the courts. If there was a law that said, "Christmas trees must be accompanied by menorahs", then he'd be right to take the airport authority to court.

But when the court perverts the meaning of "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." so much that it creates a new law saying, "Things that could possibly be considered religious need to be displayed with icons from all other religions", I find myself doubly flabbergasted. 1-Courts should NOT be making laws, and 2-this one is ridiculous.

As I said on your site, if he complains, protests or boycotts the Airport next year, I'm on his side. If he tries to force their hand with a court-created law, I stand against him.

I hope you are not offended by my position. There is not an anti-semitic bone in my body, and yet I'm appalled at what this man tried to do. It leads me to believe that SEATAC might not be so anti-semitic either. They probably just don't like being told what to do.

Hiya Kev..thanks for bein such a gentleman and disagreeing with such grace...ah breath of fresh air..but judgin by the hate mail and threats the Rabbis is gettin..theres no shortage of hate in this country hun.

Kevin....Angel.....
Stik loves you both.....Don't make me come over here......
Common sense and wisdom shall prevail....
AS FOR ME:
Everybody knows the Holly King, born at Midsummer, waxes more powerful through the summer and fall, to his peak at Samhain, while The Oak King is born at Yule, his strength will grow through the spring, peak at Beltane and then he weakens and dies at Samhain.
The Wheel of the year will continue to turn anyhow....and no matter what we do, holly will always prick us and we still have to rake the dang leaves.

Stik makes a good point! Never plant holly bushes in your yard.
