Tough to say, Stew. Entering the garden lands you 6-8" deep in mud, so I can't check the ears.

The corn stalks were absolutely flush with the ground when we got home, but the tassels were pointing skyward. This evening, the stalks were standing at 45 degree angles. They're trying to stand back up! It's cool as heck, but kind of creepy. I suspect I'll win the $25 bet, but only because I raised some kind of demon corn .
