This is definitely a high end luxury room. Oh, how I wish it hadn't been erected on a stage set. I would love to have seen the lights on the ceiling, and glimpses of how the room tied in with a bathroom or balcony. Would Matt have used chandeliers with reflective crystals? Would he have added crown molding? Would he have echoed that lush pale blue in the color of the bathroom tiles? Sadly, we'll never know. But we should have.
Matt, the other designers said it, and we at home know it: it's all you, now. You're consistently classy,you've got impeccable taste, and it's such a thrill to watch you take on challenge after challenge. I loved that your first reaction when your carpenter got hurt was concern, not irritation or "Why me?!" You managed to pull it all together anyway, in a way that we all knew you'd be able to. Can't wait to see how you wow us next week!
Congratulations Matt on a well-deserved win. This is a gorgeous room and you have been consistently excellent on the show.
