It's funny but when you see all four rooms lined up like that what strikes me the most is how small Carissa's space looks. I don't think I noticed the extent of that last night onscreen.

Gravatar Love Andrea - hated the room. Surely her sketch didn't look like the final product. She definitely got a pass on this one. Just hope she brings it next week and ousts Carisa...

who obviously thinks that no one taller than herself would be sleeping in that bed. Slip down off the pillows a little and your feet are ensnarled in wooden slats.

Matt's only drawback was the khaki rug. Pays to drag textiles into fluorescent lighting if that's the light source you're judged under. Loved >loved>loved the wainscoting and picture moulding! AND the wood panels - so clean and understated.

Goil - I didn't vote his as the worst because I had only one vote.

Gravatar Honestly? I thought Carisa was the obvious winner this week. I liked Matt's, but Carisa was so much more vibrant.

Goil deserved to go home, I'm afraid. He was getting annoying anyway, but that room was fug.

Gravatar i find it distracting to even watch the show at times b/c of wearstlers outfits! how can u be an interor designer and not know how to dress oneself? i cant even take her seriously when she wears her outrageous outfits. is she trying to steal the show?

Gravatar So I looked back at the photos for the first time since the show. Here are my new responses:

Matt, still love it. It is a tad bit cold, but at least it was luxurious to its maximum. Gorgeous room. I think he made it look beautiful without being too literal like the exact color of water or swirly motions to represent water.

Carisa, i loved it when i saw it on the show, but now that i look at it, it looks dreadfully heavy. the color just looks darker in the picture, and not very realizing. and i still hate those black louvers at the end of the bed. i don't need my feet to be trapped in the bed.

goil's room was just not luxurious. the walls and the idea look amazing, the furniture looks aweful. they do not match at all, the furniture is somewhat stodgy and the walls are artistic. they don't match, and the bed doesn't look luxurious. weirdly if he had just used a 4-post bed like Andrea it might have looked more luxurious.

andrea, i don't like the room. but now that i know some background on the room, it just makes me laugh. how do you make earth without making it dark. a dark hotel room is just not luxurious. however, the white throws me off. one thing metioned was the molding and its location, and now that i look at it, it just makes me laugh. glad she is still around, she is better than goil in the long run, but it was still an empty room.

Gravatar i think it's funny that there are so many people who think that carisa should have gone home this week. i think her room was the best by far, design-wise, but as a hotel room, its upkeep would be hell.

the more i look at matt's room the more i am underwhelmed. it's boring as heck and sunburst mirrors are so done.

i think a lot of people are just voting their feelings rather than what was actually the best or worst design. i agree, carisa is a bitch and terrible at working with people (poor carl!) but her rooms are still not the worst.
