Ah... the JNPs of Minnesota - passionate people who get policy, who log the hours necessary to serve the public well, and address the needs people across the economic and ethnic spectrum - people who actually understand and support the party platform - but who aren't rich, don't have name recognition, or haven't logged the appropriate amount of schmooze time with the party leaders....they shall never get the party endorsement - the Frankens of the world - those with name recognition who have helped others get elected get the backing - the Mike Hatches, the Roger Moes....ah....who shall get to the coveted endorsement for governor? Perhaps Matt Entenza - who appropriately still only features the revered aging white male on all of his issues photos - seriously - "our economy" - Matt and a white guy - probably in his 50s...Matt and four white guys - probably in their 50s...Health care - Matt and YES a retired couple - but in true cater to the male DFL form - the husband is standing while Entenza and the wife sit at the table - so that Matt looks up reverently at the husband - the wife looks across intently at Matt - she is not the one he will focus on it is her husband but perhaps....just perhaps...he will someday see her and the demographic she represents...Then greater Minnesota - Matt and two aging white guys AGAIN - but this time around a pick-up....ah....the DFL....it's not for the JNP Single-Payer Healthcare types - it's for the people who know who the party wants them to see........
