The cold heart conservatives always say, "They should have thought of that before they broke our immigration laws."
How many of us have enjoyed construction work, landscaping or domestic services performed by Latinos who were likely illegal? How many decades of lax enforcement have to go by before a duty arises to protect Latino families from mistreatment? All of us are here in America because our ancestors emigrated to these shores in the hope of more opportunity. How conceited we are in mistreating the Latinos currently here for committing the same "crime" our ancestors did.
