Gravatar Ouch...

Gravatar Whoa... they really go straight to the point. "may" sound harsh?!

*shakes head*

Gravatar James, it did hurt, but the pain is starting to fade.

Right, ChickyBabe, the "may" was the best part. That almost made it humorous!

Gravatar I don't have any rejections yet for my entry into the world of writing, since I'm still standing at the threshold. But I do have a nice collection of rejection for my quest for work as a graphic designer.

Gravatar Thanks for sharing, keenEddie. Whatever the genre, the rejection still hurts!

Gravatar Just exactly how do you cross a poem & a pamphlet? If you indeed do that, BbB, then a whole new genre has been born. No one appreciates people who are ahead of their time.

Gravatar Dang, I meant "did"... I sense a rejection letter in my near-future as well.

Gravatar Robert, that's the best reframe I've ever heard! For that, you will be successful in all your writing endeavors.

Gravatar Ouch.

Do you think the writer of the letter likes to steal candy from children and pop their balloons in his spare time?

Gravatar I think you're on to something, Invader Stu. I can just picture it now...

Gravatar Ouch indeed!

But if J K Rowling's Harry Potter can get rejected twelve times before being published and becoming a household name worth billions, there's hope for us all!

Gravatar Yes, it seems writers have to be tough. Actors too. The law of percentages says that jobs will eventually come. But it doesn't necessarily do wonders for our egos!

Gravatar Sparkle, that's the spirit! Too bad there's only one J. K. Rowling...

It's true - a tough ego is a must, Dan!
