Thoreau made a good case, one I fundamentally agree with, that voting is a refuge of the slumbered.
If you want things to change, you have to *DO* things - activism. Civil disobedience, as the man wrote. Voting is effortless and achieveless. The effortless expression of a unheartfelt hope that those you least disagree with will win.
