$\"Gravatar\"$ B, nooo! What about fixing the structure? The only way to truly bring about change is to fix the structure of American elections. The only thing that would ever force a constitutional convention on elections is absurdly low voter turnout. In a sense, having candidates to get excited about is really just a setback.

Ahem. But I guess it's better than having to choose between Dude McWhitey and Cracker O'Masculine like the last 55 elections.

Matt, I agree that the structure needs some fixin'. But I guess that issue has become less important to me, especially after having to endure Bush's policies from the other side of the Atlantic. I dream of the day where this horrific negativity doesn't follow every piece of foreign policy news, and I can smile when I hear the president speak, instead of cringe and turn down the volume. Selfish, maybe. $\"\"$
