The Canadian system - like the British system - has been damaged by the rise of right-wing, free market-loving governments in recent years. That's why we in the Commonwealth complain about our system. The mass majority of us would be made sick be a privatisation of what we have.

The Canadian Medical system is one that is set up for abuse of the patient in my opinion.
I have been the victim of a extensive cover-up and fraud that was very easy for them to pull off.
I am being denied any care and have been blacklisted after filing several complaints to the College of Physician and Surgeons.
The complaints had to do with fraud, standard of care and the cover- up of an infectious disease. I was left in a critically ill condition without medical help. And help was being withheld knowingly and intentionally.
This would not have been possible in the USA. But once your heath card gets red flagged its the end of the road for you.
