Gimme a Samuel Jackson beer! He got eaten by a freakin' shark.

We've been dealing with reality for the last 8 years.

I'm sick of reality. Call me a Pollyanna. Weis will succeed, because failure isn't an option, because there is no plan B. This is it.

Think Marco looks like Ronnie Woo Woo Wickers?

Ok, I do my best to ignore everyone who talks. Those who simply talk just to be heard. Like on here:

Now I still won't go to battle because there are others who have already countered such comments and continue to do so more eloquently. However, while I don't wanna preach to everyone about Notre Dame going undefeated, or anything of that sort, I will say one thing, ask just one favor: That when we win, we win big, and if we lose, we play big. No matter what, I want everyone to remember that ol' team they played from South Bend, IN. And I want them to dread ever having to play them again.

Put me in pigtails and call me Pollyanna. I've been ridin' that choochoo since January. Woo woo!

Here's the deal.

Charlie Weis has succeeded at every level, against the toughest competition in the game of football. He has the backing of the best organization in the NCAA. He has perhaps the brightest football athletes in the land. He has coaches that have superior experience in the NFL and NCAA. He has perhaps the best facilities in the land. He has national exposure every week. It isn't going to be a matter of omens or luck or whatifs. That's what the other guys will have to rely on. It's a matter of knowing exactly what you're going to create as a football coach and knowing that you've the ability to teach your plan to players who have achieved world championships.

Most of what happens to the Irish...and it will be good...is in the direct control of Charlie Weis, his coaches, and his players (who were within ten points last year of winning nine games, with a double-speaking fool for a coach). Doubtless there will be tough days. But I damn sure wouldn't want to be the opposing coach on the other sideline and look across and see our guy in the headphones.

Charlie Weis is at least as capable of accomplishing what Bob Stoops and then Pete Carroll achieved...and Urban Meyer, and in at least as short an order. Don't sell this guy short. He can do, for sure, what other legendary Irish coaches can do. Some Irish games this year are going to be mercy killings.

Wow. Just wow. When do you guys start charging a subscription fee?

I know it's you Rove. Your NSA mind tricks won't work on me. I know what is me and what is not me. So I say again ... STAY OUT OF MY FRIGGIN HEAD!!

Mmm, mmm, bitch! We love it. Plaudits. Kudos. Brutal honesty. How's it taste, motherfucker! Great post.
