The only alarming thing to me, defensively, are the big pass plays that are piling up the yardage. Outside, of that, we're better than we were last year. Weis has said the same thing - big plays are the problem on defense. |

This really seems to illustrate the "offense is a great defense" adage. While our defense is, statistically, worse than last year, our offense keeps their QB on the sidelines for a full four minutes longer than last year. That's huge - the other guys simply have fewer chances to score then we enjoy each game. The defense is much better than I'd hoped for (we're lucky to have our crew of d-coaches), but we really have an amazing offense. |
