I was at the game and I actually did notice that Stovall saw double coverage a lot more against Washington. Or they were at least rolling a safety over to him on a lot of plays. That is probably why we saw a lot more JS.

Thanks Burger.

I was going to comment on Mo as well. Charlie's system is designed to find the open guy, and not find a particular guy. In contrast, the Philadelphia Eagles have TO plays, Westbrook plays, etc. There are no Stovall plays, Fasano plays, etc. in Charlie's playbook.

Would you agree that the ND secondary is upgraded from "vulnerable" (preseason's thinking) to good this year? I think this unit is awesome with backups Ferrine, Bruton and Lambert having playing time in 2nd half.

Next yr, we bring in Walls (if he commit) and McNeil for corners along with Brown, Gaines and Gordon as tough, intense, hard-hitting Safeties. Look forward to that.

I don't think you can go so far as to say "good", since 'they are what they are' (ranked about #105 in pass yds given up so far...). HOWEVER, maybe a happy medium of "decent with potential" might be more apt..
