No game for the PSP. Skip the lame a** watch and make with the games. Giving a video game system with no games is like giving a kid a remote control car and telling him to go buy the batteries. |
I would actually have that watch instead of 3 games that they are going to pick for me. Considering that the watch is easily worth $200, you can either keep it, or sell it on ebay. Then buy whatever games you want. |

Oddest gift: The book Wild at Heart by John Etheridge, from the Peach Bowl. |
I'll tell you it was embarrassing watching Faust's squad gallivanting across the quad in those gaudy "Liberty Bowl" sweat suits for about six months... |
i would like to have watch, even though i would prob lose it out drinking. |
I could see myself being almost pathetic enough to ask for a player to autograph one of the empty rappers from said snack-filled duffel bag. Oh, who am I kidding? I'd be COMPLETELY pathetic enough to do that! |
Wouldn't you eBay a ring for a game you lost? |
As a player, I would've hoped for a small replica of the Tostito's Bowl Trophy. That thing is COOL! |
Man, if I'd known all this swag was forthcoming to bowl game players, I'd have played football for ND, too. ;) |
Actually, the book "Wild at Heart" isn't that odd when you consider the sponsor of that bowl. The Peach Bowl is sponsored by Chik-Filet, a christian based organization. John Eldridge is a christian writer and that book is very popular among christian colleges. So, considering the sponsor, that gift actually makes sense. |

Perhaps the PSP and Bulova watch will help A.J. Hawk get over the loss of his $500 Gucci watch and the three missing X-Box and PlayStation games valued at $750. I don't know about the $3,000 in cash that disappeared, but I'm sure some booster has offered to help put A.J. and his roommates - ahem - back on their feet. ;-) |
Not having the XBox 360 is practically inexcusable. At least hook them up with a video I-Pod... none of this PSP dung. |
Oddly enough, the Rose Bowl is giving out The Longest Yard on DVD, while the Orange Bowl is giving out Friday Night Lights. Yet Longest Yard star Burt Reynolds played football at FSU, while Friday Night Lights is about Texas football. Weird. |
Jamie, what years did you matriculate? Perhaps there was no schwag forthcoming? :-) |
If they would have given away x-Box 360's I would have liked to see that. Has anyone actually seen one that isn't the display model or over priced by some merchandise "scalper" on E-Bay? |
At the request of Troy Smith, the gift bags of the OSU players were simply filled with $500 cash. |
