is it wrong for a reasonably grown man to get misty watching the season overview? that video was incredible. Watching Zibi-whatever's return against USC (I can't spell) was still electric. Man, the fall can't get here soon enough. |
not at all andrew, and it's ok to cry watching the USC game again, too. November 25th is only 8 months away... |
Yes, misty eyed is a good way to describe watching those highlights. I really like each individual game highlight as well. The whole montage was very enjoyable. I love seeing Herbstreit say that ND is going to be better than people expect after Corso and others said they would start of 1-5 or 0-6. I also love watching the Pitt game and hearing the announcers say "Smerdja" everytime he made a good catch. Good times. |

awesome video. first off, found myself watching the usc highlights thinking to myself...hey, they could pull this off, failing to realize for a minute or two that the irish lost that game 5 months ago. second, what a testament that here on the eve (almost) of baseball season, those clips got me thinking about nd football in '06. thanks for sharing. |
Extremely awesome video! I guess starting out 0-6 or 1-5 wasn't going to be good enough for Charlie either. Nice to see the ND/Purdue highlights because I remember it like I was there, oh wait, thats right I was there and it was my first time seeing ND live. I'm so looking forward to 06' and on. |

Great work Nevin. Thanks for your dedication. Awesome. |
I have all (okay, still working on getting the Michigan State game) the videos and I completely have enjoyed watching them this week with spring ball in session. |
Worth the download! Awesome! |
The Tennessee highlights, intercutting images of the Web singing boy and Phillip Fulmer, was absolutely perfect. In the original of that Web vid, did that kid really have an ND banner in the backtground? |
no, i thought i read somewhere that the ND banner was edited in. |
If anybody has the games on video (especially the USC game) and would be willing to help a fellow die-hard ND fan out, shoot me an e-mail. I would definitely appreciate it and would work with you. |
that video was the most wonderful thing that has happend to me in a long time. Here is to Brady for the Heisman! |
I would love to see a clip of the last 10 minutes of the USC & Texas game. I can't describe the thrill of seeing the USC faithfull go through exactly what we went through when Texas had 4th and goal and SCORED! Leinhart looked absolutely shocked on the postgame interview. Ahhhh . . . good times. |
My God, I need to see a shrink. I was physically unable to finish the SC clip. Half a year later, and I still feel like curling into a fetal position when I ponder the end of that game and what should've been. |

I thought I was the only one. After the game I went outside and repeatedly screamed to the heavens. My youngest kid locked the sliding-glass door behind, thinking that I had lost it. A week after THE game the wife came into our bedroom, closed the door behind her, and insisted that I stop obsessing since it was affecting the kids, whereby she then showed me a GI Joe figure that my youngest had dressed up as USC Trojan, and had thrust several sewing needles into the body. He's my favorite now. Since that game my wife and kids left for the in-laws every game day. She's dreading September. I kept GI Joe. |
Nice work, Nevin. Thanks to Andy as well for hosting it |

Tom, I almost fell out of my chair reading that. I have to send it to some other die-hards, thanks for the Friday laugh (by no means am I mocking any reaction to that disgusting ending, I still hurt as well). The only brief joy I had was after a drunken USC co-ed came up to my buddy & I in the Belmont Liquors parking lot (5 minutes after the game, we needed something strong and fast) and asked us if "we wanted to celebrate the win". Without comprehending how hot she was, in my deep sorrow I immediately responded by graphically asking if I could perform a dirty act on her anatomy. The look on her face as she turned and silently walked away was priceless. I know it was wrong to speak to a young Southern Cal lady that way, but at the time it just felt so right. At least the 5 or 6 dudes she was with didn't chase us down, somehow they knew better... |
Tony, of course they knew better. It's a well known fact that every young male from Southern California is a complete and well-established sissy unless they're from South-Central. They become that way from wearing designer jeans which cost $400 and using something called "product" in their hair. This "product" seeps into the brain from the skin, vastly lowering testosterone, or "man-power" throughout the body. Its science. Plus they're all Democrats. |

Sweet video. May and Corso are brilliant prognosticators. Hope they spew forth the same garbage this year, so they can add yet another bad prediction to their resumes. Go Irish! |
I want to make a donation to Nevin for his efforts. That video was the friggin sweetest thing I've ever seen. Give me an address, give me contact info.. give me someway to reward this man for his brilliance! |
I was at the ESPN Club in Disney World this past January at the same time Corso was there. As we passed each other, I told him "0-6 huh? Nice job... Go Irish." He was too stunned to comment. |
