Won Purdue as a Senior Alumni

What are the qualifications for a senior alum these days?

I was told by the ticket office that the "win rate" for the Michigan game was 11% and 6% for the Penn State game.

Since I've gone on enough to my girlfriend (who doesn't care) about the lottery the last few weeks, I thought I'd just link to a cool story about some dude who identified the pattern to the lights in Press Your Luck. Because the Whammy cracks me up.

The Whammy is AWESOME! Press Your Luck was/is the only game show where you root for the Contestants to lose, just so you could see the Whammy...It's almost as much fun as rootin against the idiots on Deal or No Deal...

And A word of praise to GSN's "New Press Your Luck", which featured the "Double Whammy" where the Whammy would come out and pour water/popcorn/tennis balls/etc on the contestants. I remember watching once when the contestants hit so many Whammies, they sent out a guy in a giant Whammy custome and threw fruit at him the rest of the show. High comedy!

Has anybody here (including Jay) ever called the ticket office to find out what the lottery process entails? It seems like there may be some sort of ranking algorithm based on variables such as past history, number of games submitted, number of tix requested, # games already won, etc.... However, since ND is notoriously "behind the times," I imagine it's some 80 year old geezer rolling a bin full of ping pong balls.

Yes, I think they have some inkling as to what games you really want. I won Penn State and Michigan and have no intention of going. I lost USC and I always go to that one. I do have very happy friends who get my tickets

Paul, if not (about those PSU tix) then let me know... ha ha.

I don't really know useful this survey is. They tell us how many tickets were requested for Mich and PSU and since the number of seats is about the same...

I remember (surprisingly) UM and PSU had very similar number of ticket requests.
