Why are the Georgia Tech percentages so bad? |

Maybe cut it up in terms of requested tickets for each respective group. Like 2 tix, 3 tix, etc. If you had more data you could do it for each game as well as each group. |

How many of the non-lettering alums gave the Lady on the Dome multiple knee sugeries playing for her? I think the Monogram Winners absolutely deserve this recognition for what they gave the school's athletic department. |

I don't think anyone is complaining about monogram winners. Their hard work is appreciated by every alum and fan I know. |

interesting that the sorin folks' winning % was much closer to that of the regular alums for the away games (was even reversed for air force, for some reason). guess there's not such preference given to them when we're away. also interesting that not a single monogram person applied for an away game--but who needs to when you have those kind of winning %s at home. |

i disagree. not sure why monogram winners get football tix. i don't have a problem with ex football players getting tix, but it shouldn't be everyone. what's the rationale in that? most of them got full scholarships. why not student body president? didn't he give his talents to the university? why not the altar boys at church? you see where this is going....i completely disagree. |

When I received my application I was really surprised that I could request up to six tickets for the USC game. I have no idea why they didn't limit that game to four tickets. If they had, 50% more alumni could have recieved tickets for that game. Did the athletic department not realize that demand for that game would be absolutely huge? |

Perhaps the student body president (whoever that was) has his/her own perks elsewhere. The alter boys/girls? Maybe they should check out Sacred Heart for the benefits of their service. No, I don't see where you are going and since you disagree you most certainly don't understand the commitment involved with playing a sport in college. It is absolutely an appropriate thanks for what all of those student athletes gave. |

FYI - Monogram Winners cannot apply for away games. Why, I have no idea. Whats worse, is that Football Monogram winners DO NOT carry priority over other Monogram winners. What that means, is that inevitably some women's rower, or team manager, got tickets, when Football players didn't. An f'ing joke. |

I have to side with the idea that monogram winners shouldn't necessarily get a better shot at tickets. Ex-football players yes. But last time I checked, a free 160,000+ education is adequate repayment. |

john, i am not suggesting athletes didn't make a contribution to the university. certainly they did and they got paid a $160k scholarship. that's enough. they should not also get better tix. football players - yes. others - no! |

I lettered freshman year in soccer and promptly got injured sophomore year and career was over. Am I eligable to be in the monogram club? Have I been missing out for years here not getting special treatment when I could have been? On a side note, there were plenty long road trips and late nights and weekends away commited to the sport and the school not to mention 5 AM lifts and what not. I was not on scholarship and appreciate this little token of appreciation the school (might) extends to me for dedication and representing them on the field. I still have 160k to pay back so it's not as glamorous as being on the FB team or nothing. Just my two cents. |

I did, and I think he's made much, much more than 160k because of playing for Notre Dame. Give the football players tickets, the fencers not so much. They got in for free. The non-scholarship players? Well no one put a gun to their head and made them play. |

Hey soccer pussy. Quitcher whinin. I played at EVERY home football game, all bowl games, and a few away games all four years at ND and I don't see anybody offering me monogram club status. We practiced 30 hrs per week. On top of that, I don't think they laundered my uniform but once a year. Bastards. Plus, all the chicks were heinous. |

As a fellow band alumni, I got to agree with CSH...We dis practice ALOT and if that's the requirement for monogram, damnit, we should have monogram status. But we don't, so whatever... |

I think really the problem is Title 9. There used to be so many tickets to go around but each year, it gets worse and worse. I agree with others that they should get some sort of preferential treatment to past football players, but if the athletic dept doesn't want to, I don't think they should be pressured into changing. |

if you entered ND as a freshman with bob davie as head coach, and you were graduated with bob davie as head coach four (or five) years later, then you should be helicoptered in and dropped on a couch on the sideline for all of your requested games henceforth |
