Wow, I do believe the Irish will be given a copy of the article to use as T.P.
"Did someone switch Bradley's daily teaspoon of crack with baking soda?! GT should be scared of getting embarrassed on national television just like Pittsburgh last year. Calvin Johnson is one hell of a player, but he can't throw it to himself ... and if he could, well then I do believe I'd like to see that. 34-10 Irish" IrishHoffy | Email | Homepage | 08.30.06 - 2:34 pm | #

I think the best part of the above linked article is the following:
"Early returns on Nix, whose previous responsibility was the two-minute drill, have been mixed, but a bad Irish secondary figures to fare even worse against the elongated Johnson."
It's pretty demoralizing when even a homer like Mark Bradley refers to the home team as a bunch of hard-ons. DCDomer | Email | Homepage | 08.30.06 - 7:07 pm | #

I love how they all figure Calvin Johnson is going to run wild on ND's secondary. They should try looking up the numbers for Dwayne Jarrett vs. ND last year. 4 for 101 with one catch accounting for 65 of that. And that's with Leinart, Bush, White, Byrd, and Steve Smith on the field. JohnWA | Email | Homepage | 08.30.06 - 7:36 pm | #

There's a posting on the NDNation board featuring comments from the GT board in response to the ESPNABC intro. They're some pretty fired up people, it should be a good game with a lot of emotion. E-Man | Email | Homepage | 08.31.06 - 2:56 am | #
