Why would Mike Adamle's inclusion mortify you? He was a hell of a ballplayer and is a knowledgable and respected sportscaster in Chicago.

That must mean you think Larry Csonka and Joe Theismann are clowns too...they were both part of American Gladiators. He has done a hell of a lot more respected work than the couple of cheeseball things along the way. For chrissakes the guy graduated from Northwestern and played in the NFL, I think that's earned him enough credibility to keep 'bags like you from trashing him on the internet...

Um, not for anything, but I find Joe Theisman, the announcer, to be at the top of the current "Ppl I'm embarassed to admit went to Notre Dame" list...He was on the radio yesterday claiming that the Texans were gonna be good this year b/c of Dominik Davis and not realize that the Texans were close to cut him this week. That, the Favre treatment he dolls out, and his poor announcing all together ("Let me tell you something, watch this, watch this") make him my biggest ND embarassment right now. IMO

Anyone else on this list?

Tom Hammond is a U of Kentucky grad and has a history covering the SEC (bball) for Jefferson Pilot so its possible he was nominated from that conference.
