I'd love to see Aldridge get a few carries tomorrow. I wonder if his availability will mean TT will play exclusively at LB.

Hey, obviously the defeat to ND is excluded. It makes sense and looks better.

It was particularly sad last year to have lost to a team that went down the sewer. If some puke team knocks off Michigan this year it reflects on us.

My seven year old was able to grasp the logic in the town league match ups. "We should win because they lost to a team we won on."

I don't really have THAT big of a problem with Tiller. For the most part, his teams have seemed to me to be pretty classy, which is a lot more than I can say for most of their fans.

I had the pleasure of getting cussed (in vile terms, even for me) out by a Purdue fan while looking for a tailgate before the game last year for simply wearing an ND shirt, no provacation. While that in itself is not that strange (I understand drunkeness well) what was strange is that he did it in front of his 3 children, the oldest who was maybe around 12. While I know it is wrong to judge a whole fan base by this action, I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it. What was even stranger is no one tailgating with him seemed to be bothered by this sort of behavior in front of kids. Pretty strange.

On a side note, I honestly can say the the World's Biggest Drum is about the most incredibly lame thing I've ever seen in my life. I mean, it's just a drum. The cart it around like some sort of ancient relic or idol, but it's just a big drum. WTF?

This game scares me only because Purdue should be emotionally ready and ND MIGHT be set up for a letdown.

That said, if the Irish are ready, they should win by a couple of scores.

I really want to see a ND team come out tomorrow and just put the game out of reach in the first quarter. Then watch Darius/Aldridge/Prince/Thomas finish the game by just running over the Purdue D.

The first thing I wanted to know was where Frank kept all the chickens? I got this mouth open dumb-ass incredulous look.

Then it was why does the mascot carry a sludge hammer? I thought they were the boilermakers, sludge hammers are for breaking things? She shook her had and said she didn’t know.

Which brought up my last question. Do you still make obsolete boilers? Does anybody actually buy them?

She dumped me the next day. Which was OK, I’d gotten rumor that she was a lesbian anyway.

But where the heck do they keep all those damn yard birds?

No, that dishonor would go to Auburn, IMHO. I haven't done the statistics on it, but:

* Washington State
* Arkansas State
* Tulane
* Buffalo

Admittedly, Wazzu is a legit BCS team (not good, but legit, as opposed to, say, Stanford or Duke or Vanderbilt), so maybe that rescues Auburn from being at the absolute buttom of the heap. But c'mon... BUFFALO??? What is the #2 team in the country (soon to be #3) doing scheduling the Bulls? That's just pathetic.
