I like the band spelling out N D on either side of the tunnel as the team runs out. Have they done that at the other home games? I haven't noticed it |

nate, sorry you missed it. it was nice. West was split out wide left, they brought him in motion. Snapped when he was near the slot. to quote charlie (talking about Prince): "it was just like, woosh. I don't know how to describe it." Harris was out there to block for hime, but by the time a Purdue player got anywhere over to the near side West was already in and Harris was just standing around with that "damn I want to hit someone look on his face." |

West was actually split wide right. McKnight had a nice block that let him make it to the endzone. And a nice little celebration...after a couple of small strut steps, he handed the ball to the official. |

I'm decently happy with the score right now, but that last defensive series was just all too familiar. How the heck did that happen? Not good. And what's been going on with Zibby? My girlfriend, who has never watched a football game until last year's season, just made a comment about his tackling problems over the last couple of games. |

So, I haven't really felt like this game was in any doubt since the first quarter (and I'm usually very pessimistic), but the score is going to make this look pretty close. And they just showed a graphic that one of their WR has a record number of yards. That's ridiculous. |

Way to go, Irish. This was a game you guys could easily have lost, but you did well to run far enough away from them early and then tack on the 5th TD to keep that streaky Boilermaker offense from having a chance to come back. So, good job on keeping the season alive. |

A win is a win, but plenty of things to raise an eyebrow over. Let's hope Zibby didn't get a concussion on that punt return, because he looked out of it all game. The tackling wasn't very good at all, but I don't really have an issue with forcing Purdue to throw short passes all 2nd half and chew up the clock. |

I don't hear anyone complaining about Walker's "lack of speed" after this one. You guys are so fickle you should be ashamed. I don't care how bad Purdue's defense is, we didn't lose to Michigan b/c of Darius and I think he deserves ALOT more credit than he gets. Weis says he doesn't see Darius as a problem, why should any of you. |

I don't think it is Darius's fault either. I believe our O-line is a big issue in tougher games. They don't give Darius good holes to work with. Not to offend Darius, but I would like to see Prince a little more when we are ahead just to get a feel for what he can do with the 1st string. We saw only a little of that today. BTW, great game for Darius today. |
