Haha purrrrrfect.

Was that the one from today? I remember that one from my days...

what were his lines at the PSU / UM games?

Michigan: A brush with the law can be a hair raising experience.

Matt - That was from today. Perhaps there is some recycling going on?

He recycles. Some of the same lines were in use during while I was at ND from 88-92.

Repetition doesn't make it any less fun to listen to the stadium go dead quiet waiting for the punchline.

Sweet vonage!

wasn't PSU something about cops being "busy as bees" or something like that?

Has anyone compiled his greatest hits? I just googled it and didn't find anything. Hell, everything else is on the internet.

yes, he has admitted that he recycles. the greatest hits are between tracks on a marching band CD, which you can find at the bookstore.

my favorite: "if you have one for the road, you might get a policeman for a chaser."

-jaf

PSU was: "Rember folks, the police are keeping busy as bees to give you a honey of a day!" or close to that

my favorite, from a few years back:
"it's not very bright to drive half lit"

"You'll never find your bluebird of happiness with too many swallows."

You can buy a CD of the Notre Dame Band and Offic Tim McCarthy entitled "May I Have Your Attention Please" That includes 15 of his lines. www.ndband.com

"The road is rocky for those who are stoned."

Oh, man, this needs to be a regular feature. Nothing like the dead silence going over the field for the punchline and the crowd going nuts for it. I have heard fans of other teams ask what that was all about and why everyone was cheering when it wasn't all that funny. Good stuff.

"nobody relishes a pickled driver"

"Remember, if you try to pull the wool over a policeman's eyes, he may see through the yarn"

"If you weave in and out of traffic, you'll just end up a basket case"

Leave the Saousa to us?

He had one about frogs a couple years back that I thought was pretty good.

If they took his quotes and made it into a book they'd make millions.

"Remember, DUI's are expensive, which is why driving drunk doesn't make any cents".

His worst, by far:

"Remember, if everyone drives right, there'll be more people...left."
