with all the speculation on another epic battle between the irish and SC, ofcourse i thought about the recruits that will be watching the game, then i thought....what happened? Arrelious Benn is gone,marvin austin will be gone, martez wilson will be gone, donald is rumored for already silently committing to tenn. why has nd recruting suddenly a disaster after lemming predicted it to be the #1 recruiting class???

Please go back and watch the play where Reed gets hurt. It is the kickoff right after Zibby's punt return to the house.
As the ball is kicked Reed is standing near the 15 yard line. He has to run back to the goal line to field the ball. This is when he hurts himself. He was out of position to field the kick-off. If there is any blame to be placed it is on a player who was out of position in the first place.

I hope someone showed this article to Mark May. If I have to listen to that SOB say the grass today won't be "three feet tall" like it was last year, I'm gonna scream. The point is irrelevent and makes me question whether he attended any classes at Pitt -- duh. I guess he thinks the Irish are faster than the Trojans if they can run on longer grass. Last time I checked, they're all running around on the same field. I can't believe Lou hasn't called him on that glob of tripe he keeps spewing.

Wow--watching GT-UGA, and this is just BAD football. How in the heck is Reggie Ball a Div IA starting QB? On ANY other team besides possibly the service academies (USAFA and USNA because they're option teams, USMA just because they're bad) Calvin Johnson would have 2000 yards receiving and 20 TD's. Amazing.

And yet, as I type, UGA misses a FG, to keep the potential ACC champs ahead 3-0. Go Tech...

Mark May is a complete jackass. All season long teams he has praised have fallen (I'm looking at you Texas) and he still can't let go of the Irish.

I can't wait to hear how he spins ND's victory tonight into something they should be ashamed of.
