How appropriate.......yes, I'm tired of all the other reindeer calling us names. But hey, we will go down in history.........I hate to spoil the holidays, but what are the odds the NY Giants (with Coughlin looking to be gone soon) call on CW?

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I want to be a dentist!

I think the nose should be emerald green.

Merry Christmas everybody. There was a nice little article in my paper today (Elkhart Truth) talking about the Irish players spending a day down in Nawlins helping to build a troubled youth center or some such thing. It's nice to see people get involved in the spirit of Xmas.

Mike S,

Yeah, if Coughlin gets canned, the Giants will likely give Charlie the obligatory call, but don't worry about it. There are a ton of other candidates out there, Charlie ain't going anywhere, and the Giants sure as hell don't want to pay that buyout. Consider THAT a nice little Xmas gift from our AD.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all the BGS bloggers.

No Happy Holidays, No Happy Kwanzaa, No Happy Hanukah just a politically incorrect Happy Birthday Jesus.

Go Notre Dame Beat LSU.

A Blessed Christmas to all! Even to you, Chase Pittman. Go you Irish! Hold that Tiger!

The graphical effects on this blog the last few days are truely astouding ;)

ALRIGHT!

I got exactly what I wanted for Xmas. A classic, authentic Lou Holtz action figure wearing his Arkansas Razorbacks gear circa 1977, plaid pants and all. Freakin' Sweet.

Next year for Xmas, I want some BGS shirts, mugs. Get on it, people!

We're a hi-tech outfit.

For once I beat out my four siblings this year on the best gift for Dad! HO HO HO! A lifelong "subway" (70-odd years), I have no doubt he's already partway through his new Collector's Edition. Hopefully, Dad, we'll be adding to that collection in the next couple of years. Merry Christmas to all and may the New Year bring a Bowl victory to the Irish!

Go Irish!

Perhaps, off the topic (but perhaps, more important), any take on the rumors that the Giants will put a press on for CW? It sounds like they may pull out all of the stops (ie pay off his ND contract). I assume (or at least I hope) that CW will NOT fall for that!

The rumor comes from the NY Post (nypost.com). I can't seem to figure out how to copy the link to here.

I got a handmade Notre Dame bird feeder from my Sister in-Law. I will have to post a photo of it.

Paul, here is the link.

In my humble opinion, I don't think Charlie will leave us until he gets that NC...or at least until he beats the Poodle.

Amazingly enough my Dad won some SB tix in the lottery so he and I will be going to New Orleans for the ND-LSU game. That was the best present I got all day yesterday. Where are the Irish staying this year? The Marriott or something like that??

That article isn't even a rumor, it's just some Giants beat writer's pipe dream of who he wants the next coach to be.

Don't take this as a sign that Weis is sticking his feet in the NFL waters.

I agree with suave. I'm a big Giants fan and have been reading articles speculating on Weis all year now. I think the writers know that there is no way the Mara family shells out that much money for a buyout for Weis. But, the NY writers need something positive to write about as the focus shifts to the Knicks (don't get me started) in mid-January. There are far too many glaring needs on offense (OL help, #2 WR) defense (any LB, secondary help) for them to be throwing a boatload of money at Charlie. Some might say it's a win-win situation for me, but I think it's easier to find a capable coach in the NFL than someone to effectively run a big-time college program (with recruiting an all) the way Charlie has. So I'm rooting for him to stay. Go Irish, beat Tigers.

yo that is awesome

Happy Holidays to everyone and
Notre Dame!

Doesn't Bob Morton look a bit like Yukon Cornelius?

How can I get a photo of Brady Quinn 0662 under the Penn State Fan Gallery?
