very, very funny. i think that age will make a big difference in who gets this (clever) joke... |
nedu had a 44 yard INT return in the Bengals' win over the Browns yesterday... and did DW end up getting the start for the Texans? Well done, lettermen. |
That's good....that has bothered me for quite some time. I'm glad I was not the only one that noticed that. |
awesome! |
Was it Keith Jackson that said, "Oh my God, the quarterback is TOAST!"? |
"I was in middle school, dickhead." |
Merry Christmas everyone. |
EDIT: It's "junior high", not "middle school". |
That one beats the crap out of the game referenced in "Air Force One," in which we allegedly lost to Michigan. |
Or Father Mulcahy's comment on MASH when told that the game being listened to is Army-Navy, and not Notre Dame ,asks: |
haha that movie came out the year i was born and i get it... very clever... thats actually one of my favorite parts of the movie considering we havent had too much luck against the trojans recently haha |
gramma's favorite christmas movie. |
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the BGS guys (and gals). |
Who is the DE that CB is pursuing in Detroit that made 36 sacks this year? |
Dear Santa |
Fantastic. Two thumbs up. Good Holiday Fun. |
Now I have a machine gun |
Merry Christmas, Mister Falcon! |
Merry Christms to the BGS family. Go Irish! |
GB, |
I prefer Homer Simpson's quote: |
You're thinking of this (from the episode written by Ricky Gervais): |
indy - Ndukwe had two interceptions against the Browns I believe. However, on both Brows touchdowns, the hit wide open receivers in the rear-middle of the end zone. I didn't see if Ndukwe was to blame, but I wouldn't be surprised. |
Karl: Asian Dawn? |
One participant went for over one hundred yards and had a hard touchdown. A FBI agent, who looked a lot like Pete Caroll's brother, was heard to remark "Oh, I hope that wasn't one of ours". |
Even more puzzling than the late season ND game... |
When Coach Weis was examining the offensive line woes from the past season, he was heard to say, "Who's driving this car? Stevie Wonder?" |
My favorite Christmas movie. Happy Trails, Hans. |
Doug, thanks for the wonderful holiday wishes on the previous thread. I look to you, BGS and the rest of my fellow bloggers to keep me(in)sane until the beginning of next season. We're off to Chicago where my ND beanie will get a lot of use. At least I can suffer through New Year's bowl games surrounded by family and good beer. |
Anyone heard anything about Omar Hunter? |
Omar was last seen scrunching up his toes without his shoes on after a long flight back to Georgia... |
According to Omar's MySpace profile as of yesterday he was all ND. This is a cooling off period so there is supposed to be no contact. |
Coaches can still make phone calls, just no visits. I'm guessing he's been hearing from Corwin and Chaz quite a bit... |
It's been reported that Omar's roomate at the ESPN Bowl is Braxton Cave. That can' be a bad thing. This poor kid is being hounded and has yet to de-commit or even schedule a visit anywhere. His HS Coach has done too much talking and not enough counseling. I was told a month ago that the coach prefers Florida over ND for his protoge. |
Typically it's good form to attribute ideas. The same observation came up on hornfans.com on 12/16: http://forums.hornfans.com/php/w...e=&view=&sb=&

Yeah, I stole this from Hornsfans...good lord. This has been a much-referenced movie quote among ND fans since the movie came out 19 years ago. But no, I stole it from a Texas board. |
