Anyone else notice that the acronym for the Blind Oracle of Bristol is B.O.o.B.?

Brian,
To be honest, at first I found the posts involving the Blind Oracle of Bristol to be incredibly annoying. I'm not gonna lie.
But they have completely grown on me, subtly, and with this post I have to say that I actually love this shit now.
Kudos. Brad | Email | Homepage | 10.26.07 - 1:11 pm | #

Brian's posts are sort of like watching 'The Wire.' It takes a couple of episodes to get into it, but after that, you're standing in line to get the box set on DVD. Jay | Email | Homepage | 10.26.07 - 1:16 pm | #

Hey, I live in Dallas and sure remember when Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones came to town. By comparison, we made ND look like a great team. A few years later and some talent ( E. Smith and Troy A) and we won the Super Bowl. lou | Email | Homepage | 10.26.07 - 3:11 pm | #

In an article on the Nebraska unraveling situation it noted that 9, count 'em nine players had transfered and two were academically ineligible. The A.D. was fired and the coach is on the way out.

Homeless leftover comments at week-end:
Navy will be a big test for Corwin's defense with that cwazy offensive scheme. Hopefully we'll look back at this bye week as an 'inflection point.' Hear me Yahweh!
I love the Minnesotans.
I feel some Husky Schadenfreude coming on this weekend. I really don't know how to explain it.

Unfortunately, this idiot has been pretty accurate in his predictions.
How good of an offensive line does ‘Bye’ have compared to ours?
I guess more importantly, how good is ‘Bye’s’ defensive line and pass rush?
Do they blitz?
How many fifth year seniors on the ‘Bye’ Team?
Is this a rebuilding year for the ‘Bye; Team?

No, No you don't.....I like how the writers hyped up Floyd commitment as if he snubbed Osu when the fact of the matter is that Osu has amassed a crazy wr corp for this year, probably the best in the country and he was on the outside looking in with another wr prospect projected to commit from the same feeder school (glenville) as ted gin and co. "Osu has amassed a crazy wr corp for this year"
Where exactly is this "crazy wr crop" you speak of? You guys have Posey, who is w/o question a top notch WR, and who? tOSU folks keep acting like Stoneburner is a WR when he has always been a TE and may still be in college. Who else do you have committed at WR to make up this "crazy wr corp"? Eddie | Email | Homepage | 10.26.07 - 8:32 pm | #

Doesn't OSU play PSU tomorrow or something? Yet zippybuck still has time to troll ND blogs, when ND is clearly an irrelevant 1-7 team this year? It's starting to become comical. IrishRugby | Email | Homepage | 10.27.07 - 1:05 am | #

Its okay guys. I'm just drooling at the oppurtunity for tOSU to go out and FINALLY play a team of any talent. And since there is none in the Big 10 I'm waiting for any SEC team to completely humiliate them (again) in the BCS. DayBreakBoys | Email | Homepage | 10.27.07 - 10:21 am | #

Changing the topic a bit, I really hope that the quality of recruits that ND is getting will result in some fun-to-watch, competitive teams in the next few years.
But I have to admit that reading this site's comment boards, you do get the impression that a lot of Irish fans are taking that as a cold lock certainty.
You know, the team still has to be molded, and the games still have to be played.
Can anyone tell me whether this whole rating system of recruits existed back in the '70's, and if so, what was Joe Montana's ranking.
I've only read anecdotal kind of stuff about him as a high schooler, but my impression is that while he was regarded as a special kind of catalyst at QB, his small size was seen even back then as too much of a barrier for him to overcome.
Could the next Joe Montana be similarly overlooked as a high school junior, or has the game changed so much that he wouldn't even be given a shot today? Joe Subway | Email | Homepage | 10.27.07 - 10:34 am | #
