I want to thank Jay for the nice plug, and for being our guest in the last issue. Editor Bill Meiners and I have a lot of fun putting Sport Literate together twice a year. BGS already hosts a pretty sport literate following, so I hope some of you check us out. Consider submitting something. Voice, I'm talking to you!

As a long ago friend and colleague of Bill Meiners, a sometime "photog" at ND games in the late 90s and a long time reader of Sport Literate, I can attest to the passion, spirit and work that Bill (and now Gina) puts into each issue of this bound journal.

Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Voice, Voice, Voice, Voice, Voice, Voice...............Voice!!!!
We love the Voice!!!

This is an outstanding read put together by some very bright ND loyalists. I always heard Gina's from ND are great folks.

My thanks to Jay, as well, and a hello to my old photog buddy, Jim.

I'm hoping Gina and I will have a chance to read several Irish football essays looking for a home in Sport Literate.

Just want to thank you again for that article "A Special Reverence". I've found that many times since I graduated ('06) that I need to pull it out to explain my football passion as a female in the Northwest.

"See? I'm not the only girl ever who cares this much about Notre Dame football."

Also, thanks for the new article. I now know what most of my family is getting for their birthdays this year.

Little off topic, anyone want to sign on to a grass roots campaign to elect Chris Zorich as new AD? After this USF adding to the schedule, something has to be done. What does an AD do anyway? I'm sure Zoro can handle it.
