I should be at the game, if the weather holds off. I guess I'm spoiled after last year's beautiful weather. I might even bring my wireless card so I can upload videos of those die hard tailgaters (cough-irisheyes-cough) before the game.

Just got offered season tickets too. Not sure if I want to bite after last years dismal season, but it is tempting.

IIRC, last year we could see video of every single play ran during the game after it was over. I think it was on either UND.com or NBC.com or similar. Anyone hear if that is going to be possible again this year? Am I thinking of something else? Too bad gameday won't be there broadcasting the event on ESPN, that'd be too easy for those of us who can't make it to South Bend for the game.

I'm assuming that und.com will have a comprehensive highlight video after the game sometime.

I think Maize n Brew pretty much nailed it: http://www.maizenbrew.com/story/...4/16/92955/ 2747

The SBT had a couple of stories. There were 2 quotes that stuck out for me. CW said that the OL was way better than any time last season. CB said that he learned more this season (most likely from Tenuta) than any year in his career since his first season playing in the NFL.

Well, Michigan fans have no foibles to speak of. They walk balk back peacefully to their own glass houses after tossing rocks at us.

Anon - I had already linked Maize n' Brew's post in the BGS Shared Items on the right sidebar.

Out of curiosity, are people using that feature at all?

Wow. That Maize and Brew site was so damn accurate, I really couldn't even be upset about it. Kinda creepy.

I always at least take a glance at the links in the sidebar. I don't necessarily read every one, but if it looks like something I'd be interested in, I read it.

Oh yeah, also...

Why doesn't at least the local NBC station in South Bend show the Spring Game on tv? Nothing is on NBC during the afternoon on Saturday's in the spring. Put it on. People WILL watch it.

Didn't Charlie Weis say he didn't want the game televised? I seem to remember that discussion last year.

Will this be the first time on the new grass?

Pat, I like the BGS shared items. I don't read every item, but I scan it and click occasionally. I vote "keep it."

What's the constrction, is it just maintenance, or are there new updates to speak of?

They are basically re-building the lower bowl, one quarter at a time. This is where the money from the new "season tickets" is going to.

Hope to see some construction over there. Season tix average out to $233 a ticket, even though the face value is around 75 (if busted selling over face, you lose season tix). Seems to really be pricing the little guy out of the market. Eventually, it'll be all corporate/super rich folks at the games. Funny thing is, they charge 20 dollars extra for mailing? I thought it was illegal to charge over the postage rate! Found out if you put 'postage AND handling' one can hypothetically charge whatever they want.

tix08:

they are covered. I believe they refer to it as shipping and processing. Maybe not the exact phraseology, but they are covered nonetheless.

Personally I hope they don't price the little guys out of the market. In fact, we need more little guys in that stadium. The seats are so close together that the presence of "fat cats" makes it difficult for narrow-assed fans like me to stake a claim to my seat.

It's ridiculous that UND.com has a softball game under "Live Events" but doesn't air the Blue/Gold Game! Hey UND.com, there's a reason why you exist and it ain't softball!!

It's ridiculous that UND.com has a softball game under "Live Events" but doesn't air the Blue/Gold Game!

Weis does not want the Blue Gold Game telecast. End of story.

"Outlined against a blue, gray October sky...NOTRE DAME WILL RISE AGAIN" -The Shirt, 2008

I was certain they'd keep the shirt green. Are we ever going to have the entire stadium wearing the same color?

Besides Wood commiting, Tyler Stockton said he wants to play DT at ND.
