Horrible, horrible news. It was bad enough hearing yesterday that he died, but finding out today the circumstances...horrifying.

Robert and the entire Hughes family will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers.

There's an AP article today (Weds.) that says he was back at ND practicing with the team, and Weis is going to drive him to Chicago on Thursday to be with his family. The whole team hopes to make it to the funeral on Friday, and Hughes does plan to play against Navy.

What a difficult time for the young man ...

If Robert did want to play on Sat., if I were CW, I would give him plenty of playing time. He would have so much passion to play and emulate his brother, he would be extremely hard to stop.
