If you learn to say & do as you please and do it in a diplomatic fashion you can get away with an awful lot more than acting like a bull in a china shop.
Often it isn't what is said and done that is the problem, it's the fact it is done in a way that offends others.
That's why they having such sayings as, 'It isn't what you say, it's how you say it' etc.
After sayin all that, there is of course many things peopel can never get away with, regardless of how diplomatic they say or do them.
BUT, often it's just a matter of learning the art of thinking before angaging ones mouth.
Also, there are some people on the planet whom you will always offend regardless of what you say or do. These peopel are worth ignorin, as you know you'll never win.
[Or so I have found]. 
I hate it most whenever my boss tells me that "nobody is indispensable".. It makes me think that whatever I have done for her isn simply NOT ENOUGH. Hmmph!
Unfortunately, we're forced to conform to the standards of those who put food on our tables. Sad world we live in.

Have to wear masks lar. If not everyone at work get emo susah.
It's hard leaving Neverland. It's hard trying to refrain from making "EAT THIS MEGATRON!! KA JOOM POWW! " noises when playing with Optimus Prime. But earning your own money and hence independence kinda makes up for it. Sometimes.

consider it the greatest sarcastic joke you pulled off. go out there and cheer everyone, backstabbing them only behind their backs, specially your boss! Still, work hardest to please your boss... he will make you INDISPENSABLE. You might be an employee, but that hinder you from being the queen!?!
