Winter wear is overrated. When I went to a cold place during winter, whatever I money I blew on nice sweaters and shites were constantly covered by my trenchcoat. Lol

bodicea: i've not seen snow yet. actually it snowed in shanghai last year at about 2am. by then i was already sleeping. i think i'm okay with snow. i just hate hate hate the chilling winds.

Actually just multiple layers of normal clothing like t-shirts are sufficient (for me, anyway). Tested by myself on my many flights to places with -15C going on like Paris, London etc in wintertime.

But if you wanna be warm AND fashionable, you're gonna hafta sacrifice a few extra bucks for that

kurt: the way you layer layer layer reminds me of a kuih lapis. i don't use double underwear but i usually go skater chic and wear a long sleeve shirt under a normal tshirt.

anon: go austria or switzerland? cannn... YOU PAY LAH!!! winterwear in kuching is as wrong as buying a pair of skis in the middle of the sahara desert.

snglguy: i did suggest manila this round! unfortunately i was outvoted as usual (for the last 10 years). my mum is convinced that you'll get kidnapped the moment you set foot off the plane. *rolleyes*
