I still haven't got around to using my Mahjong set. I've owned it for about ten+ years.

Hedo - Well, it was originally purchased for me by my Ex Wife, only she refused to play with anyone else, and as you can't play Mahjong with TWO people it never got used.
My mother owns a Mahjong set, so we use hers if needed at home.
I'm not going to give it away, as one day I'll live in my own home with [hopefully] my own wife and kids and will need the set then.
eh, i'm suffering the perpetual condition of boluiness lah. wait till cny. ask your dad gimme big big angpow. then i squander on playing with you. LOL.

ashish c: taipei is played using mahjong tiles, but that's not the real way to play mahjong. mahjong is a more complicated versionb of gin rummy
