OH NO!! OMG!! sorry to hear the bad news.. i cried also when 9 of my hamsters died before i got rusty.. i didn't know what was wrong with them but luckily now rusty is doing well..

I had a hamster that went off that way too. The little runt mysteriously escaped from his cage one night and fell off the void onto the cold, hard floor one story below. Paralyzed from waist-down and died the next day too. I suspect this is their standard suicide procedure. It obviously needs a little tweaking.


hamsters should come with better spine cushioning. maybe i should bubble-wrap my next hamster. haha.

i know what that coldness felt like. i had to bury my pup who got run-over by a mad man who left him for head. hurt so much but even if he survived, it would have been dreaful so it may have been better this way. *hugs*
