i know. i miss those days when i can sleep in till 7:30am. but nowadays i am so used to waking up early so it's not too bad.
Seems like Brandy is a bit homesick (maybe la) that's why she lost her appetite. Is she like that with the previous owner?
ya, the previous owner also said she don't want to eat.
actually she will eat at times, but very small amount. it has reached a point where i am more surprised when she eats than when she doesn't.
try kolo mee? cos i've an auntie who's dog is the same type as brandy (i think) and the dog super LOVES kolo mee. :p plus char siew.
brandy cannot eat kolo mee! too oily. yes, the dogs in my house eat better than the humans.

most toy dogs are horribly fussy with food, and eat alarming small amounts of food. my cookie's fussy, but there ARE things she'll eat, and a lot of too, so i guess you guys will just have to figure out what brandy likes?
how old is brandy anyway?
she's very young... 1 y/o nia. you know what, only last night she consented to eat a tiny piece of chicken&cheese treat. and horrr, she don't want to drink doggy milk. she wants UHT fresh milk! talk about being melampau.
my mum is highly alarmed at the (non-existent) amount of food brandy consumes. strangely for a dieting dog, she's not skinny. hmm.
Hmm, kinda reminds me of one of our dogs from way back. There were times when she would only eat after much coaxing and hand-feeding from my Mom. it took us some time to wean her away from the habit.
i abhor hand-feeding the dog, but sometimes she just wouldn't eat and hand-feeding seems like an easier alternative than letting her starve.
LOL sounds a bit like cookie, except cookie has weirder food preferences.
but i think my cookie's so skinny 'cause she's hyper, and she chases what little food she consumes around. she likes batting her food around for a fair bit before consuming them, like how a cat bats around a dead mouse before gnawing on them.
try giving her chicken? as in boiled chicken. cookie loves that, so do most dogs i know, even the fussy ones. you might have to shred it up though, if she's anything like my pampered princess.
it's canned food for brandy, although my mum insists on mixing in some rice. she's not buying my explanation that shih tzus are prone to skin sensitivity as a result of excessive grain intake.
she doesn't quite like fresh cooked meat. bobby gets those. i think brandy finds them a little too "raw" smelling? goodness knows what goes on in her fickle mind.

my life starts before 6.30am. to be exact 6am and i only need to walk 1 pup to poo and pee.
sweeping and washing and mopping comes in at 7.10am... and by 7.30am he'll start barking and begging for food.
7.40am ... clean him up and 7.50am time for my bath ... 8.10am ... bring him out for another peeing session ... 8.15am ... out from the house cause i'm just too hungry.
waseh. luckily i dun have to sweep, wash and mop. i'll go nuts if i have to do that. and only bobby eats breakfast. we've given up on feeding brandy in the morning.

this is usually the case when you spend the night before fucking your brains out.
