Personally, I don't care if the girl is a virgin or not, as long as she is faithful to me while we're in the relationship.
If she wants to wait, then she should wait. No one shoul dbe pressured into sex either from their partner or peer group pressure.

dabido: teaching a virgin how to be good in bed is as fun as training a dog. sure, you'll reap the rewards but the training process is shitty. so i rather let other ppl train and i'll reap the rewards.
I train people to use computers for a living. I have a lot of patience and the reward is always worth it. So, training a virgin is no problem. Besides, even if people have had a lot of sex it doesn't mean they're any good. Some people are very selfish and only do things which get themselves off and not their partner. [Such as my Ex]. So no amount of exposure to sex will help them. 
At least with a virgin you don't get other peoples bad habits already taught to them.
But, like I said, the important thing is that someone doesn't get pressured into doing it before they're ready.

I'd say, if they were getting married, then the girl should be ready by then. After all, isn't that what they are waiting for?

I think he just waited till she was ready. Like I said, if he could wait till they were married, then waiting a little longer won't hurt [unless he bursts the blisters on his hands]. lol
Most (decent) guys in general prefer virgins. People are generally attracted to other similar people.. It would be ideal for a couple to both be virgins till marriage and then there would be not as much of a problem of not being able to satisfy the other as both of em would be inexperienced.

In actual fact, keeping your virginity till marriage is vital for a lasting, successful relationship. The saying goes, if a girl had lost her virginity before you met her and you subsequently marry her, the chances are, she is going to be promiscuous, as that girl would have 2 men to compare each other with from a sexual standpoint. Therefore, she would be likely be curious about what the experience would be like with other men, as opposed to a virgin who would not have any other point of reference besides her husband.
Basically, just don't have sex before marriage.
