haha! DD could use some company. But she'll just end up chewing on the rats i think. Poor dog lar...btw..forgot to tell u, my mum said she already discarded all the leftover dog food that DD refused to eat cos it went bad.
DD is such a spoilt and melampau pug. if she doesn't repent now, when she dies she'll be reincarnated into some ugly anjing kurap by the roadside.

Geez, that one big rat. Almost the same size as the mother rat we caught. But at least it came in a lighter shade of brown, a bit easier on the eyes and not as yucky than the jet-black we trapped...
Do call the SPCA on your neighbors. Some people just don't deserve to have dogs as pets.
yeah, black or dark grey rats are ugly and gross. i would call the sspca, except that my father likes having the dog around because it's so barky and noisy... it's something like a free watchdog for the back portion of my house. that's why we feed it.

My mom caught a few rats at her office using rat glue. Her bait? garlic bread kekekeke
Is the dog chained to something all the time?
salted fish works wonders. the pest control guy tried prawn crackers and salted peanuts at first, but didn't work. the dog is sometimes chained to a pipe outside the house during the day, but he's allowed to roam free in the compound at night.

you and your dad are such sweethearts.
yes, the dog does sound a bit not right up there. erm..... maybe it takes much longer for him to warm up to people since he's adopted at almost full grown age? .. he/it does look adult to me.
he's still a puppy. a very long-legged one. but i think there's something wrong with one of his front legs. the joint seems to stick out at a weird angle.

i figured if i were in that rat's predicament, i'd happily binge on my last meal first.
might as well enjoy that before i die.
right before we called in the pest control guys, my dad managed to trap a rat with our own cage and he left the poor creature outside for the whole night in the cold wind and rain.
me being the animal lover (kononnya) actually grabbed a handful of hamster food and dropped it into the cage for the rat to eat. at least let him die with a full stomach.
