For the last few weeks I have hardly blogged because I have been working to try to get out the vote. Needless to say the elections two nights ago made me sick.
I plan to campaign of Huckabee now. In fact I might startan unofficial Catholics for Huckabee blog is there is not one existance

I have been excited and proud to have discovered this blog about the governor of my former home state. I will certainly be excited to see what develops with Governor Huckabee in the coming months.
Being from Arkansas and from a family that threatened to move to Canada when Clinton was elected to the Presidency, I certainly understand the strong desire to see someone like Huckabee succeed...
BUT, as I think Huckabee would also say, America needs more than just moral leadership, and certainly more than Huckabee himself.
If God is really God, and Jesus is really the resurrected Lord, then neither Bill Clinton, nor George Bush, nor Mike Huckabee will have the final say on the fate of America. We must certaily do what we can, but if the democratic party takes control of the nation, for good or for evil, those that follow Jesus will still have the responsibility to work with and pray for whoever is in power, whether emperor, president, dictator, or pope. Hope lies in the victory of God over evil, which may or may not (probably not) be tied to any one political party. Knowing Huckabee's background, I think that his response would not be too far from that.

I am ready to head up his campaign in Arizona. I believe I can line up a few state legislators here to endorse Governor Huckabee for President.
