Gravatar renato,

I agree. We must slime the WSJ now.

Gravatar hey does this mean we get to freak out right-wingnut-blog style?

You know, threaten to bomb the WSJ offices, call them traitors and demand their execution, or stalk the reporter and photographer and their children?

Well, I guess we MIGHT do that if we weren't a bunch of dirty fucking hippies who'd rather do another bong hit.

Gravatar It is, yeah.

But the fact that Sgt. Keller (almost certainly) consented to having his picture printed, I assume he's comfortable with it.

I understand the initial reaction, though. I did a double-take/wtf? as well.

Gravatar True. But that's a lot to assume, isn't it?

Gravatar I imagine they're in armored vehicles between locations.

Also, when a modern US Army soldier is all kitted up (k-pot, goggles/sunglasses, body armor, radio, uniform, weapon, etc.), the chances of anyone being able to identify him from a face photo are close to nil.

Gravatar It's not clear. The article says that only he and his commander can open the briefcase, but doesn't explicitly say that the commander, or anyone else, travels with him.

Gravatar Does it say in the article whether he does this alone or with an entourage? I can't get the Journal to load here.
