As HFN aficianadoes know, 'schlussel' is now an adjective. Would 'althouse' be a noun or adjective? I'm thinking along the lines of 'Great-Aunt Grace got more and more schlussel until we had to send her to the althouse.'

I rarely read Ann's blog, for the simple reason there isn't much to it.
The fact that she once chose to post a picture of birds&#t, as though we cared or it meant something, should say enough about how vapid she really is.
This "lady" has to be one of the nuttiest, phoniest, dummbest, most intellecutally dishonest and insecure people on the net.
It is unbelievable what the heck goes in her mind, for Pete's sake....
What is it with this lady? First she gets the whole Soprano analysis upside down, way over-analyzied, deliberately trying to find something wrong and nefarious in their intent to put out a funny video for PR purposes.
It's that simple, lady. The campaign has a charm deficit and is stuck in neutral and needed something to lighten things up. I am not a fan of Hill nor her campaign nor her desperate reliance on hubby, but this was indeed one of their most innofensive and usefully funny moves. The Celine Dion is a worse move, choosing a boring, flat and "Canadian" song wasn't as well-serving of a move. (Canada is great but critics could desperately hang their hat on that one.)
This weirdo sounds like such an overrated, overpaid overreaching weak Law Professor. If my kid were going to UWisc, I'd be worried about wasted time and money in her classes. She is totally clueless, classless and with not a hint of impartiality and rational thinking.
She is trying to camouflage her ideology with stupid posturing and fence-sitting and has no ability to stand up to her critics and debate them, but would rather mock them and have her loyal sheep in the comments section do her bidding.
She is a woefully weak pundit, if she can legitmatelly be called a pundit. She will not blog with anyone who would challenge her weakness and won't be shouted down like before.
SHe says the meanest things about liberals and stirs up debates that are solely meant to belittle and mock them and then she runs crying foul "Why do they hate me" Huh??
She wants people to think she is this wonderful, generous, calm, classy independent "thinker" and humanist and great feminist but all she is, is a ball of insecurity.
Now she is out threatening lawsuits and using body parts in defending herself? How desperate.
Does anyone know whatever happened to the Altmouse blog and if indeed they were served by any lawsuit of hers or any cease and desist? They all of a sudden went quiet and I suspect they couldn't afford a legal battle, even if they are within their First Amendment/Commentary/satirical rights to talk about a public person who willingly doles out opinion for commercial purpose (ads sold on site.)
Were they cowed?

One of these days Ms. Creative Commons actually will sue somebody over a trivial copyright violation like that -- and I can't tell you how much I look forward to the massive shitstorm that sets off, in the entire blogosphere, apolitical as well as political, because she'll be threatening to shut down all of blogging as we know it just because her precious feelings got hurt.
So how many times a day do you think she googles or technoratis her own name to see who's saying sexual things about her?

These people have shown a bizarre inability to grasp references. The whole kerfluffle over Hilary "ordering for the table" being an example of her love of the 'nanny state" is a prime example. It's a line from the show they're parodying, for Chrissakes. Then they bitch and moan about Althouse's critics being "humorless."
Methinks L'Althouse is heading for a full-blown mental meltdown...this week alone she's gone through about six stages of crazy.
What is she going on about? So she could sue you except she can't? Does she realize who the putz in instaputz refers to? Jeesh what a dolt.
