Gravatar I don't know Actor. But the "boner control party" loses credibility when they lose control of their boners. At least the media gasbags will not be able to slobber on the McMavericock with any conviction if this turns out to be true.

Gravatar Hor, I was addressing the second point: that if he actually did have sex, his campaign is sunk.

It's not. It might be over the ethical violations, but look, Larry Craig is still a Senator.

Gravatar So goes THAT theory!
Actor212

Well, but the same Mr. "I did not have sex with that woman" was not a mavericock. So, there goes "that" theory.

Gravatar And if it ever comes out that McCain and Iseman did have an affair, McCain is unequivocally sunk. His denials have been so swift and so strong that no apology would repair the damage.

Mr. "I did not have sex with that woman" left office with a 70% approval rating.

So goes THAT theory!

Gravatar Let's hope so.

And let's hope the media doesn't get McMavericocksuckeritis once the general election season starts

Gravatar Whatever the story’s flaws, it broke the ice in what is bound to be a yearlong examination of McCain’s complicated (that’s generous) relationship with lobbyists—romantic or otherwise—despite being an anti-lobbyist crusader.

I think this is exactly right. The only way it works for McCain is if the response is so overwhelmingly, uniformly negative (not just from the wingnuts) that it scares people off of looking into this stuff at all...but I think Isikoff's piece today shows that isn't happening.
