You mention Pombo's involvement with the "Indian casino goings-on." Pombo's PAC (un-ironically named RICH-PAC) rakes in huge contributions from the Indian tribes.
Would it surprise you to find out that, in addition to all of the areas of oversight that you mentioned, the House Resources Committee which Pombo chairs is also in charge of the Bureau of Indian Affairs?

No, I am aware that the BIA is also under Pombo, and of his involvement with many tribes - receipt of monies from them. There was just too much to put in one post, it's pretty astounding what this one guy has gotten charge of in a very short time.

Marigolds,
I appreciate the light you're shining on Pombo. He deserves all the notoriety he can get. Some of us, including Babaloo (who I didn't know commented here until just now), are working very hard to oust Pombo from office.
Because of his powerful position in Congress and because of the deep pockets of his corporate cronies, it's going to be a tough fight to dislodge him from office. Please consider helping us in any way you can. Even a token donation would mean a lot because it all adds up.

Wow Dave, thank you so much for your kind words. I hope you also read the second part. This is a guy we have to get out of the House next November.
