Yes Andrew I was going for "humourous" particularly with the comment about the Vice Presidential debate - there's only going to be one so the "series" will be cancelled after one episode. haha.

I try to avoid political commentary in this blog as much as possible - like most Canadians I''d probably be a Democrat if I lived in the US - but I've seen too many seemingly innocent blog posts degenerate into angry political battles (they're not discussions since that implies rational give and take) so I stay away from that stuff here.
