Actually, ELEVENTH HOUR is also the Yankization of a UK sf series (the Granada original, with Patrick Stewart, has also run in the States on BBC America), and the placement of ELEVENTH HOUR and LIFE ON MARS across from each other might well spell a quick end for both, particularly against an ER that is probably going to try all sorts of stunts to highlight its last-season status. And the excellent British screen (and prose) writer Stephen Gallagher, who created ELEVENTH HOUR (not to be confused with the earlier Canadian drama about a news-magazine tv show), will be the head writer for NBC's CRUSOE.
