Seriously, I take it you are feeling better; that's good. It's always worrisome to check in and find that Emmys post still up. Glad you're back!

With regards to the changes made after pilots are sold - I was really looking forward to seeing Rupert Penry-Jones (now blanking if that's right) in 'the forgotten', no matter how bad the material might be. Once they replaced him with Christian Slater, my interest in that show was gone. (I did watch one episode, about a football player, just to see if they created a fake team.)

The only pilot of this season that I think has been matched by what followed was that of 'Modern Family'. I think 'The Middle' has exceeded the template set by its pilot.

And the best pilot overall to be matched by its following series? I'll stick with 'Lost' on that one.
