You are such a good sister. Its bad enough to be so ill , but not to have to face going home to laundry and housework, makes recovery that much more attractive. Hope she is well soon.
You could cook your ham and slice it up to freeze into ready to thaw and serve.
That's what family's for, Susan! I'll pass on your get well wishes.

Sorry to hear about your sister - hopefully she is feelign better and they find what is wrong.
Is it a pre-cooked ham? I would think that you would be able to freeze it.
It's uncooked ham, Susan. I solved the problem - took it back to the store and got a refund!

Hi Bobbie,
So sorry your Easter plans had to be cancelled but your sister came first. Hope they find out what is wrong and can fix it quickly and she is back home soon.
Yes we freeze ham (picnic ham, bone-in) all the time. We even buy them on sale and pop them in the freezer to use at a later date.
We just got lots of rain for Easter though the ground this morning has a light snow cover. "Up West" (where Ellen lives) they got lots of snow instead of the rain!
Hugs, Faye
Glad you didn't get snow, Faye. It looks like there's sunny skies in your area for the rest of the week!

P.S.
Did you change your blog again? It looks really nice.
As for Easter here; we didn't do anything; very, very quiet.
It seems I'm always changing my template, Sally.

Oh goodness, Bobbie, I hope your sister is going to be okay! That's some scary business going on. I'll be saying some prayers for her!!
MsM is a beautiful child, and her hair is luscious!! I miss Hunter so much as I hardly ever see her anymore since she started pre-school.
Yes, you can freeze ham, but I wouldn't for more than a month or so. I've done it before when we've had too much, and it was fine, just be sure to re-bake it clear through.
Let us know about your sis. (hugs)
I'm quite worried about my sister, Sally. They still don't have a definate diagnosis.
Miss Hunter must be learning up a storm. I hope she enjoys pre-school.
