I voted for Charlie & I agree that he will do the best job on Council and won't be sucked in to status as much as Jordan was.

Watch how things go after the perks are distributed amoung the councillors. The mayor doesn't need Jordan to sqeeze through any of his pet projects because of his reliable buddies that have been re-elected. If one or two of them jumps ship, that's when the real test will come.
Meanwhile you can bet that Jordan will be schmoozed in every way so that he remains as a prospect for support when needed. IMO Kurt is a crafty politition, but a lousy mayor.

It's interesting to hear that Charlie might not turn out to be another puppet for the mayor to manipulate. I hope this turns out to be true, and I will be the first to congrdulate him if it is.
I think this years budget will be the test. I hope he doesn't turn his back on Kim, and maybe both of them will pick it apart and shave the excesses out of it. It seems the others may not be up to it.
