I'm surprised there's no comments here. Not that the debate had any content that was earth shaking, but it was a bit of a study of personalities also.
Layton bothered methe most as he sang the same old socialist songs. He has no doubt noticed the growing numbers of aging folks and made sure that we are aware that he will spoon feed them all as they age. Between that and his concern about "working people" and child care, I keep wondering why he simply doesn't say give your sorry life over to the state. Loose your ambition, sell your business join a union, give your kids to day care, buy another case of Molsons and take life easy.
Duceppe was quite interesting and seems to be a sincere person. Too bad he can't see Canada as his country. He would make a good PM in the right party.
Martin showed his experience and his confidence. He's beating a dead horse though I'm afraid. There's just too much rot embedded in the core of his party and its followers, and it's time to they move out of government.
That leaves Harper, and being slightly biased to begin with, he's still my choice. He did quite well.

I'm so proud of Harper. He LOOKED like a prime minister, and kept his cool, and stated his platform. So glad to see that he is up in the polls
